UNOBSTRUCTED MAGAZINE ISSUE #5 [ PERTENESÉ ] 20.08.26

MAGAZINE ISSUE #5 [PERTENESÉ]

For this issue of UNOBSTRUCTED Magazine, the open call invited contributors to reflect on the theme of PERTENESÉ: what does it mean to belong? How do we make sense of belonging through what we create, where we participate, and the communities we become part of?

Belonging has always been central to how we understand ourselves and our cultures. Throughout history, people have belonged to families, neighborhoods, creative circles, diasporic networks, and shared social structures, the relationships that anthropologist Clifford Geertz described as our "webs of significance."

This sense of belonging stretches across many spaces. It exists in classrooms as much as online communities, in music scenes as much as family gatherings. It is constantly shaped through the people we meet, the places we inhabit, and the practices we carry with us.

In this issue you will find articles, photography, poems, illustrations, minigames, interviews, and artist profiles contributed by creatives from the ABCSSS and their diasporas.
