Shot by Brandon Schotte

Back in March 2025, Brandon Schotte joined badtime on their tour through France, moving across four different cities. With a tape camcorder in hand, he captured fragments of life on tour in this 22 minute mini documentary.
badtime is a multidisciplinary project by Ioana Ciora and Kevin Schuit based in Antwerp. What started in 2020 as a visual art collaboration evolved into its own universe of sound and image. Their music blends post-punk, EBM, synth punk, and lo fi textures, driven by electronic drums, hard hitting basslines, and punk guitars, reflecting the gloomy and sinister atmosphere of their world. Yet still danceable, their sound moves between tension and release, carrying a raw and immediate energy that pulls you into mosh pits in a second.
Brandon Schotte is a musician, mixed media artist, and documentarian from Curaçao. He has played in bands such as Toto Boroto and Lifeless Past, and currently plays in Korting, while also working on solo projects across punk and adjacent genres. Alongside Matthias Carter, he co-hosts Radio Malandro, a platform focused on alternative music from the ABCSSS islands, documenting and sharing stories from within the scene. Check out their episodes here.
