A few days before the CLOSURE EP listening session in November, I was feeling stuck. Burnt out, kind of disconnected from my own work. I knew I had to pause and look back to make sense of where I was heading. That’s when Richard picked up the camera and we shot this video of me walking through the park and streets of Diemen, the area I’ve lived in since moving from Aruba.

The idea was simple. No script, no setup. Just walk and talk. I spoke about how I got into the creative world, the stuff that shaped me growing up, what I’ve been navigating lately, and how I try to make sense of it all. Somewhere along the way it turned into a kind of therapy session. A necessary conversation with myself. A reminder of why I even started. Sometimes you gotta go back a few steps to see the bigger picture.
